Introduction
This policy describes the personal information Virtues collects in connection with the sale, shipment, and warranty of Virtues hardware (the Virtues Server and accessories).
Information We Collect
To fulfill a hardware order we collect:
- Contact details — name, email, phone (optional)
- Shipping & billing addresses
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers
- Order metadata — serial numbers, warranty status, support tickets
How We Use It
- Process and ship your order
- Provide warranty and repair service
- Send essential service notices (recalls, security advisories)
- Comply with tax and customs requirements
Sharing
We share information only with the providers required to deliver hardware: payment processors, shipping carriers, customs brokers, and authorized repair partners. None of these providers receive data from your VirtuesOS instance — they only see what’s needed to deliver, support, or service the physical product.
Retention
We keep order and warranty records for the period required by tax law and the warranty term. You may request deletion of marketing data at any time.
